Who throws the furthest? Forget finesse — this is pure power. Friday's qualifier decides who earns a spot in Saturday's final.
As part of Disc Skills, we’ve built a distance competition around a single question: who can throw a disc the furthest?
No technical fairways, no putts — just you, an open driving range and everything your arm has got. It takes place on the driving range at the tournament center in Vorgod, with plenty of room to let it rip.
How it works: You get 5 throws with different discs, and it’s the distance from the tee to the first landing point that counts. Choose your weapons wisely — the longest throw survives.
Divisions:
Women
Amateur — PDGA rating under 900
Open — for anyone who thinks they can out-bomb the rest
Qualifier & final: Friday night is the qualifier — the biggest arms move on. The final, Distance Far Far Away, is held Saturday afternoon.
